hmm, havent blogged for a while. this wk has been a tad more interesting compared to last wk i guess haha. considering there were no public holidays.

THURSDAY

haha so lets start with thu. took the bus from school to cheung cheng to support table tennis haha. went with wenjie peishan cheejia deren puayhian. lol. haha it amazingly turned out to be quite fun! lolx.

so yeah, when we reached cheung cheng we were like xia dao lol. cos their main office building exterior look totally cheena haha. we were like calling it tian an men. -.- rofl. but yeah the school structure quite chinese haha. kinda cool. lol, this coming from the bunch of us from chinese high lol. the irony :D

but haha, i must say, their school compound is quite nice. for starters, their canteen own us can! in terms of prices. it's like the food there ranges abt um... 80 cents to $1.50 max? and got carrot cake somemore lahh. one of my fav food lol. oh yeah, we were like spamming the jap stall, who sold stuff like takoyaki, sushi, and california rolls haha. chao shiok lol. then also got desserts, and one stall which sold quite a lot of snacks. sigh, compare it with our canteen...

oh yeah, and their lake totally rocksssss. i mean like, there's this place in the school, which is sheltered and has a number of benches, faces the damn nice lake with big fishes (koi i presume) and tortoises, then got one piano nearby where ppl playing ballads on it, and a slight drizzle raining down. woah... i tell u. it's super nice lol. deren was commenting it's meant to promote BGRs lolz. it's just super nice o.O oh yeah, i suspect the lake can spray water like musical fountains loh lol. with sprinklers in the middle of the lake and spot lights as well. a pity raining, so the sprinklers werent on.

so yeah we were exploring around the whole school haha. mini adventure lol. cheejia wasnt with us though. hmm... somewhere else lahhs =P=P=P *wink*. oh yeah, i totally forgot abt the TT match rofl. hahaha. well i think quite exciting haha, esp the singles. damn nice to watch. esp the kind when the ball pass from one end to another continuously. very nice haha. and the doubles rock! =) gd job to yushan and daphne haha..

after that the TT team took cab to go eat while us supporters slowly walked out of the school (which is super ulu by the way, hidden in the midst of private housing), all the way to the main road. IN THE RAIN. haha, so wj and ps shared an umbrella, me and cj shared my umbrella, and deren took cover with his towel from swimming. oh yeah, puay hian is the total ultimate lol!! the moment he put on wenjie's jacket and wore the hood, immediately our first reaction. "TOURIST!" hahaha. it's seriously damn xiang4. then somemore when he tried to take a photo of us at tian an men (the cheena building), he looked the ultimate tourist lol. the hood, jacket, sling a bag, then holding out the camera to try to take a pic. CLASSIC i tell u haha.

anyway haha, went to old airport road to eat gd food haha. wah the food there apparently v gd la, very few stalls will have one that is laden with certs and awards lah. quite a lot of us spammed wanton mee lol. cos got the channel U award recommendation thing. then i ate the rojak also, wah wenjie counted 11 different awards haha. chanel handbags recommendation, makansutra, best rojak award, etcetc la. and lots of newspaper cuttings too. haha. quite interesting la. and yup i must admit. the food is gd there haha. hao3 chi1!! =) if only it wasnt so far from my house, if not i confirm go there often to eat de lah.

oh yeah smth interesting happened while we were eating. but it's kinda hard to describe, so ill do it briefly. basically it's just this lorry carrying full of gas tanks having its front wheel into the road. as they were paving the road, that portion is only soil/sand, so the wheel kinda sunk in la haha. so there was this small excavator named "bobcat" that tried to save it. then v funny, cos it couldnt do anything much to help after going all the way to the lorry. then it just turned back and drove away lol. then after that a bigger crane/excavator came to help the lorry. haha we were like joking the small bobcat cannot solve the problem, so ask his big bro (the bigger excavator) to come settle lol. then even though the bobcat cant do anything, it followed his big bro to the lorry, so though to help him to jiayou. lolx. yeah, so basically, after quite some time, they finally got the wheel out of the sand. i call this "operation quicksand". haha. cos deren was saying the soil/sand was like quicksand, suck the wheel in.

ok so much for a brief description. anyway, took the bus to bugis before taking 170 home. tiring day.

FRIDAY

friday was actually quite boring la haha. had phy spa though. anyway after sch had to stay back cos pw results release. so went dj's strings room to play. i played noob version chinese chess with peishan while the rest played risk. (the real board game haha. finally, after so many nights of online risk.) haha it's seriously noob version can, after a super long time, wad we've eaten were like 2 pawns each haha. anyway, the pros took over and the game kinda left our hands. oh wells haha. i seriously cmi at chess >.< after pw results, went to venezia to eat icecream (class outing/"celebrate" pw over). got wenjie peishan ruiyuan puayhian wensheu kwangguan zhiyong deren yushan cheejia yongxian. hopefully i didnt leave anyone out haha. anyway yeah, ate nice icecream and randomly chatted. i tried dark choc and biscotti. haha peishan says the dark choc tastes like royce. =D it's nice! anyway um... we were mostly occupied by trying to figure out the whereabouts of someone (let's not delve into that =D), but the next most interesting thing was a lesson by teacher yushan on pingpong haha. seriously, i didnt know there was so much to table tennis lah. all the flip sides, top spin, side spin, back spin. wad side with wad spin will return wad spin. if wrong spin, then will hit net, hit out etc. and all the signals and hand signs haha. super interesting. i mean, like all amateurs, our aim is just to get the ball to the other side ma lol. when did we care abt all this stuff haha. hmm, so this provided a new perspective to TT to me haha. anyway after that went to cold storage to "shop" haha. actually just wanted to see see. then came upon this area with clearance sale. so they were selling stuff at half price. arnotts chocs for like $2+ when usual price $4+, twisties international for $0.85 when usually is $1.70 etc. haha. regretted not bringing more money la. then came upon interesting products haha, like some scalloped potatoes, spiderman cereal (-.-), and instant cup pasta etc. lol. deren like really shopping haha, bought a lot of stuff =D. after that everyone went home liao. then haiz damn unlucky to take bus at that time. cos it was 5+, peak hour. so buses crowded like siao. but the most irritating this was i can take 4 buses, but the first bus i could take appeared like after mebbe... 25-35 min of waiting? wth la. then somemore it was so crowded it didnt stop... >.< um, just one conclusion. just go shop a while more if u want to take 67 170 170 or 961 along bukit timah road at 5.30pm on a friday afternoon. or just take a random bus to somewhere else where u can take other buses. seriously la haha. i reached home abt 6.40pm.

it's like the first time im appreciating CO ending super duper late on mon and wed.

talking abt CO, now they extended the sat pracs from 11am-3pm to 10am-4pm liao. omg.... nvm, i dont mind if we were to really do well and grab that GWH from SYF... jiayou jiayou. 2+ wks more to go only...
