hmm, just thought of blogging before book in in just less than an hour. sighs. well let's not go to that.
anyway, april batch guys POP le! haha, so all enjoying their block leave now. lucky guys. hope they get decent postings and nice commanders wherever they go.. for now, just go all out and have fun this next week. a well deserved break from BMT. =)
went to celebrate ryan's bdae today with him and sam in city hall area. walked like all over the place, just to find somewhere decent to eat haha. even stepped into oriental hotel to take a look. it's rather intimidating lol, with the endless levels. wanted to try out this cherry garden, but it looked really ex, and apparently so good that there were ppl who made reservations and had to wait. so we went down one level to melt world cafe, wanting to check out the int'l buffet. but the price totally scared us off haha. 118++ per pax. >.< omg la. so ended up in kenny rogers for his bdae lunch back in marina square. i must say, the sides are really good haha. i liked the macaroni and cheese, and the potato salad especially. =) really quite nice haha. the chicken and ribs are also rather good. after that headed to esplanade for dessert at max brenner's. woot. really nth to say haha, just except for the price, i really enjoyed the choco dishes there =) had a whipped granite (dark choc cold drink), truffle made from 70% cocoa (with vanilla ice-cream, raspberry sauce and fruits), and a belgian waffle (with vanilla ice-cream and cherries to go with it). i must go there sometime again soon lol. though it's really really really sinful. muahaha. lastly went to take a look at the pc fair over at suntec. OMG. it's incredibly crowded. siao one loh. can die of suffocation there i think haha. but anyway, sam got his laptop for his new uni term coming up in august.
louis vuitton handbags it's pretty cool i think haha. and the specifications are really not bad loh. so i think quite worth the price. as for me, nowadays thinking of getting a psp leh... since our platoon now allows to play during non-office hours. however, im quite scared ill like get addicted to it, and my 2 yrs in ns will be just gone like the wind. like wasted on doing nth productive loh... but then again, nowadays i also hardly get to read the book i bring in (hey, although it's fiction, but i think it's at least a bit more um... constructive than games lol), so i also dunno how im spending my time nowdays... >.<
will do some more consideration bah. but talking abt this, i really want to find something useful/constructive to do while im in ns for these 2 yrs. i see samuel actually brings his med books into camp to read during his guard rest. so it kinds of inspires me as well. though of course, it'll be kinda pointless to bring in chem eng stuff in la, since im not even confirmed if im going to take that for real, and i'll prob forget by the time i start uni. but im thinking of something useful loh, like some skill... hmm. will have to think abt it as well.
sigh, anyway, heard from pc that the rest of this month will be just focusing on drills drills and drills. omg ultimate sian-ness. well as usual, looking forward to the upcoming weekend bah... hopefully chunkang will plan out smth for the class. so that'll be something to look forward to i suppose.
otherwise, just booking in to another sian-ed week ahead bah.. =.=

sigh, turning into an emo-kid these days, what with all the shit im going thru recently. but yea, trying to inject something more light-hearted here. cos i do enjoy my weekends tremendously, and those are actually times i feel happy.
well for one, got to eat durian on fri! haha. was at sam's house, which had a pasar malam nearby. it's been dunno how long since i've gone to a pasar malam to take a walk. all the food lol. ramli burger! but i didnt eat that haha. couldnt resist the craving for durian though, so went to buy a box haha. (and no la, never so crazy until buy the actual fruit and squat down in the kitchen with all the newspapers laid out to eat the durian haha. followed by making salt water and drinking from the durian shells. those were the days =D)
my sis borrowed from her friend the CSI series! woot lol. seasons one to four. so got to catch a couple of episodes despite having an extremely short bookout time.
chanel handbags will slowly watch finish i guess haha. really quite cool, being with criminalistics. the things they do with the evidence is really interesting. from blood spatter to ballistics to dna sampling to psyche, the possible evidence is endless haha.
well, spent most of my wkend with samuel, and i must say though didnt go catch movies or eat good food or go town, i had a pretty good weekend =). a very homely and cosy one haha. hopefully next week can wire up something for me to look forward to again while living my weekday miserable life.
alright, i better go get ready to bathe and book in before my parents continue to scream at me. don't they realise im trying to do all i can to delay the horrible fact that im really going to enter that living hell for another week? but then again, only our platoon can understand truly how we feel...
damn. im back to being an emo-kid.
voodoo-ed and killed at 8:53 PM
VOODOO-ED.
life is like a needle.
a voodoo needle.
it pricks.
and it hurts.
every passing day,
it will find its way to prick me.
the moment i felt
the lethal injection enter my body,
i knew it was over.
this curse has been embedded into me,
not going to be lifted anytime soon.
for the next couple of decades at least.
it's too late.
don't start regretting.
the curse of life begins.
everything is no longer the same,
anymore.
try to accept it.
(i know i'm trying.)
i've been voodoo-ed.
and now,
i'm just waiting
for the effects to take place,
for the day to come.
waiting, for the curse to befall upon me.
simply waiting,
to meet my doom.
life's never the same again.
i'm voodoo-ed. and killed.
